Yehuda Dror has more than 30 years experience in developing and implementing services that safeguard life, property and the environment. During his 25 years with DNV, Yehuda has held a variety of key technical and managerial positions across a wide spectrum of industries. He has been instrumental in the introduction of quality, environmental and safety management system certifications in the United States, exercising his knowledge and experience as a qualified lead assessor to build one of the leading certification bodies in the world. Today Yehuda directs all of DNV’s worldwide services dedicated to healthcare delivery and patient safety. He holds dual positions as President and CEO of US-based DNV Healthcare Inc. and as DNV Global Healthcare Sector Manager, responsible for product and market strategy in more than 100 countries. He has led DNV into number of system-wide health initiatives, including a national patient safety monitoring program with the U.K.’s National Health Service, and DNV’s entrance into U.S. hospital accreditation with the groundbreaking NIAHO integrated accreditation program.
Mr. Dror holds a Masters degree in engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an Executive MBA degree from the University of Houston.
Patrick Horine, MHAExecutive Vice President, Accreditation DNV Healthcare Inc.
Patrick is responsible for oversight and management of the National Integrated Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (NIAHO®) program for DNV Healthcare, Inc. He oversees the staff and surveyors including standards development, providing pre-survey support, evaluation of survey activities, and post-survey activities, which includes the evaluation of the reporting process and review of corrective actions to survey findings. He has been in an integral role for the development of the NIAHO® Accreditation Program pursuant to recognition of deeming authority from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Patrick has more than 20 years of healthcare management experience and holding leadership positions in hospitals. His experience includes positions as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Vice President for Quality and Business Development. His expertise includes hospital operations, performance improvement, patient safety, data inventory development and analysis, and adverse event investigations. Patrick has presented numerous seminars as well as worked on-site with healthcare organizations on an international level.
Patrick’s educational background includes a master’s degree in hospital and health administration from Xavier University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in health occupations education from the University of Louisville.
Rebecca WiseChief Operating Officer DNV Healthcare Inc.
Rebecca is responsible for oversight and management of sales, marketing, contractual relationships, and training activities for the National Integrated Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (NIAHO®) and the ISO 9001 Certification programs for DNV Healthcare, Inc. She oversees the staff providing all sales activities and client development, including contract development and negotiations, internal and external training opportunities related to surveyor development as well as public courses, both nationally and internationally. She was an integral participant in the development of the NIAHO® Accreditation Program pursuant to recognition of deeming authority from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Rebecca has more than 30 years of healthcare management experience in leadership and executive positions in hospitals. Her experience includes executive positions overseeing pharmacy, rehab, medical imaging, laboratory, marketing, occupational health, cardiovascular services, social services, human resources, outpatient, satellite, and mobile services, volunteer services, communications, and medical records. Rebecca’s expertise is in client and staff development, including all aspects of the sales process. She has presented numerous seminars as well as worked on-site with healthcare organizations both nationally and internationally.
